About Sod Works

Sod Works has been delivering and installing sod in Orlando and throughout Central Florida since 2006 when the owner, who had been operating a landscape maintenance company for several years, began receiving repeated requests for small sod installation jobs. Realizing that most local companies didn’t want to bother with small sod jobs, and recognizing the need for a dependable sod company that was willing and capable to do all sizes of sod installation work, Sod Works was born.

Now, Sod Works boasts three installation trucks a tow behind bobcat loader and its own 53 ft. flatbed tractor trailer. Using its tractor trailer, Sod Works pulls and transports sod directly from the field daily, rather than purchasing it from other sod wholesalers, so you can be confident that the sod is not only the freshest, but also doesn’t include any intermediary mark ups.
